The owner was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us. It's a stunning location. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Staying at Romeo's place was incredible, with a spectacular view of Vico Equense. There's a beautiful garden full of fruit trees, including grapes, figs, pomegranates and lemons, and guests can eat the fruit. Romeo also gave us advice on getting around the Amalfi Coast, where to eat, and which route to take depending on where we wanted to go. The apartment has a full kitchen, private bathroom and room for 2 or 3 people. The price is super affordable, with discounts for longer stays.

The view was nice, but everything else put us off. After two days of travel, we opened the door and were hit by a moldy smell. There was visible mold in the refrigerator, and who knows where else. The place was so filthy we didn't even move in, and I don't want to imagine what the beds were like. There was no pool or whirlpool, probably because they were broken and never repaired. The grill was so dirty there was no need to marinate the meat. The road is incredibly narrow, only suitable for a car as small as a Fiat Tipo at most. Even carrying groceries up on foot takes a lot of stamina. The landlord, who was supposedly friendly, casually kept a good €1000 for absolutely nothing. There are definitely better places to stay, without being ripped off. Thanks, but never again. I have to give it two stars for the review, but even that feels too generous.
