Hotel Giada

The property is just steps from the sea, but it's outdated and run by elderly people. I paid the bill upfront on arrival for a nine-night stay. Cleanliness needs improvement, especially the dirty floors and bed covers. On the third day I had a work problem and had to go home. I got no refund at all, not even part of it, and they didn't issue a receipt. Too bad.

Ants came out of the light fixtures in our room, and even after three days of cleaning they were still there. The place felt unsanitary, with old bathrooms and dirty shower stalls and limescale on the tiles. It's a small residence right on the street, so nights were noisy too. The elderly owners seemed not to care at all. I wouldn't recommend it, especially for families with children.

We had a quiet, relaxing stay in a clean and healthy-feeling place. The residence was very comfortable, and the owners were incredibly kind and always ready to help. Having a reserved parking space right on the seafront was worth its weight in gold.

We spent three days here and came home reluctantly. From the B&B, right by the sea, we could watch both sunrise and sunset, and the old town and all its sights were easy to reach on foot. Parking inside was very convenient. The rooms could do with some updating, but the elderly couple's kindness and the other good points more than made up for not having the latest rooms. Highly recommended, and we hope to come back soon. Roberto and Elisa on a motorbike!!!
