We keep coming back to Ambrosea, and Vietri sul Mare makes such an easy, friendly base. We’ve also enjoyed visiting Salerno, Sorrento, Positano, Capri, and other sights from here. Carmen is wonderfully helpful, quick to respond, and found drivers for us, along with great ideas for places to visit and eat. The rooms are spacious, clean, updated, and lovely to stay in. A real gem on the Amalfi Coast.

We stayed five nights and found the room clean, thoughtfully laid out, and very comfortable, especially the bed. Carmen was a lovely host, and we enjoyed the breakfasts she made. The train station is close by, with excellent regional service that gets you to Salerno in just a few minutes, and restaurants are only a few blocks away. Being so central does mean some traffic noise from a nearby intersection. With the windows shut it didn't affect our sleep much, though light sleepers may want to keep it in mind. We had a wonderful stay at this charming little B&B and would gladly recommend it to visitors to Vietri Sul Mare.

We spent a week at Ambrosea and were sad to leave. The room views are stunning, and restaurants are right nearby. Carmen, the owner, makes a wonderful breakfast each morning and is an amazing host. It’s a real gem, perfectly placed for enjoying the Amalfi Coast.

We only stayed a few nights, but everything was so well handled that we can't find fault with the stay. Carmen made fresh breakfast every morning and even arranged our taxi to Salerno Train Station, which can be hard to find in the Amalfi Coast area. We felt really looked after and hope to come back someday.

We’d happily stay at this hotel again if we come back. The room was clean, stocked, and had a beautiful view, and the staff were really good. Carmen was amazing and very active in the chat. She went out of her way with advice about activities, directions, and taxis. My friends and I loved the stay and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to anyone thinking of booking a room!
