Residenze Sonnenschein Casa Bianca

The apartment was clean and had all the cooking utensils. But check-in was supposed to be around 17.00 or 17.30, and we didn’t get the room until after 19.00. We had to wait outside nearby because we couldn’t park inside before check-in, and our two children were crying. The person who answered the phone wasn’t friendly, which is why I’m giving only three stars.

The bathroom was clean, and the rooms were spacious and nice, but I wouldn’t recommend this place if you need to sleep and rest. The sofa, sofa bed, and bed all sagged, and without shutters, light came through the windows from 5:00 AM. Getting the keys was a mess. The collection point was somewhere other than the apartment, and despite us giving our arrival time, no one was there to hand them over. Once we got to the apartment, it felt like a construction site. There was plenty of parking, but the entrance was dirty because work was underway in one of the apartments. I’d recommend it if all you need is a shower.

There are some real positives: the apartment is bright and spacious, the reserved parking is convenient, the bathroom was clean, and the location is great for exploring the valley. But sleep was impossible on the double bed and two sofa beds. They were so worn out that I woke each morning with headaches and pain in my neck, shoulders, and back. What a disgrace, especially when a place to stay should let you sleep without a problem. Such a shame given the other advantages. Never again.

The house is welcoming and nice, and the bed was comfortable. Cleanliness was decent, though I found an empty coffee bag left in the closet. The amenities were disappointing: no hairdryer, and only one roll of toilet paper for every five people.
