Residenza Agorà

Sardinia never lets us down. We stayed as three, and the villa impressed us the moment we arrived. The house was beautiful, spotless, and stocked with pretty much everything: linens, cleaning products, a microwave, oven, air conditioning, washing machine, dishwasher, drying racks, plenty of cupboards and kitchen utensils, plus a huge TV. It even had a clean, fresh smell throughout. The owners made the holiday easier with their helpful tips. They were warm and friendly, always available when needed but never intrusive. A big hug to Marcella and Ignazio ❤️❤️❤️❤️. The villa is close to the center and around 10-15 minutes from the loveliest beaches of Villasimius.

Ignazio and Marcella made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. They were so welcoming and friendly, and we had a truly lovely holiday. We'll certainly return. We stayed with our family in the first week of September. The garden was the first thing that caught our eye, beautifully kept and set up with several places to sit, tables and chairs on two verandas, a barbecue, and sun loungers. Inside, there was wine and sweets waiting for us. The house had everything we could need, including a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave and kettle. The bedrooms had memory foam mattresses and pillows, and the sheets and towels were spotless and fresh. There was a three-seat sofa and a Smart LCD flat-screen TV in the living room, plus air conditioning in every room. It's a ten-minute walk to the town center and five minutes to three shopping centers.

We couldn't settle in and ended up booking somewhere else, which meant paying extra to move. We had hoped to end the rental by mutual agreement after finding a construction site across the street that wasn't mentioned in the listing or shown in the photos. The landlords wouldn't agree, and we would have appreciated more honesty and cooperation. A good host should care about guest satisfaction as well as the money. The apartment's furnishings mostly matched the description, but the bedrooms felt very basic and cheap. The listing photo of the bedroom didn't match what we found, and the sofa was worn and uncomfortable. The place also felt remote within the urban area, and with the building work nearby there was no atmosphere.

The owners deserve a special thank you. Villa Agorà is elegant, welcoming and clean, with a lovely flower-filled green setting and a garden that's clearly well cared for. It has all the comforts and amenities we needed, and the location makes it easy to reach both the center of Villasimius on foot in just a few minutes and its beautiful beaches nearby. It's a peaceful, private place for a relaxing weekend, whether you're on your own or with family. I'd happily come back.
