La Rocca Suite

The owners’ noise on the stairs at 8 in the morning was what really shocked us. The mother and daughter live on the first floor and rent rooms upstairs, so we could hear them talking and shouting at their child, who was making a terrible racket, while guests who had paid quite a bit were trying to sleep. If you want to relax and rest, that’s not possible here. Absolutely wouldn’t repeat the experience. We were already disappointed by the room: it was very cold, though luckily there was air conditioning, and the bathroom felt unthinkable in that cold. The lady said she’d turn on the radiators, but they stayed cold. There wasn’t a blackout curtain either, so light came through the window, which had shutters instead of blinds.

The room was tastefully furnished, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. Marina was so kind and did her best to accommodate all our requests and needs. We had a really pleasant stay.

Marina greeted us with a smile when we arrived in the early afternoon and made us feel like old friends. She showed us around the room, explained the amenities, and suggested places to visit and eat. She was extraordinarily friendly. I’ll recommend her to anyone I know who plans to stay in Viterbo.

The owner brought breakfast to the room with a smile, and it was excellent and generous. The rooms were clean and fresh, with lovely furnishings and comfortable mattresses.
