We spent most of our stay by the pool, with wine and caprese, watching bee-eaters during the day and hummingbird moths and fireflies after dark. The views, BBQ, and well-kept apartment made it easy to settle in, and the hosts were so warm and helpful that my partner and I felt genuinely wanted there. This was my favourite part of the trip. Bring what you need, because you may not feel like leaving!

If you like quiet and being surrounded by nature, we recommend this place. The house sits in beautiful green surroundings, about 2-3 kilometres from Volterra along private and forest roads. We stayed four nights in October in a practical, well-equipped apartment on the first floor of a three-flat house. The furnishings are old-fashioned. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, so it's best to pick up everything you need in town beforehand.

The silence and setting among the Tuscan hills made this a charming place to stay, with Volterra just a short distance away. Francesca was kind and helpful, and the apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. We also appreciated the clear directions for parking and nearby sights. We'll keep this place in mind for another stay in the area.

The owners, Mrs. Francesca and Mr. Daniele, deserve a big thank you. They were both so friendly and helpful that I felt at home. The house was very clean, had everything I needed, and came with a fantastic view. I was there for work, but I definitely want to return and see more of wonderful Tuscany.
