I first came here in 2000, when I still lived in Italy. These days I’m in California, but whenever I come back to italy, I have to return to this amazing place. Simply fantastic. Five stars don’t cover it 🍸🇮🇹

I haven’t stayed there, but the Tuscan hill setting is beautiful, far from everything and everyone. I’d definitely go there for a holiday.

The place has a lot going for it: big rooms about the size of a large apartment, a large swimming pool, a beautiful garden and a charming feel. It’s close to the lovely town of Volterra, with its beautiful landscaped roads and old town. The price is good for this location in the heart of Tuscany, and I doubt you’d find anything better for the money. I have very fond memories of it. There are some downsides. Getting there means taking a road full of potholes, and there’s no service, which is a bit of a bummer. The rooms weren’t very clean either. Still, the place itself is very charming.

It’s a great place if you want some peace and relaxation, with fantastic views and a great pool. The bumpy access road and mosquitoes are just part of it 😁 We’ve been back before and will definitely return.

We were there with our daughter, and the helpful owner, garden, swimming pool and unique view all made a lovely impression. The only real drawback is the road up to the property. You’d need an off-road vehicle or a 4x4.
