Negril Escape Resort & Spa

The bay by the lighthouse was great for swimming, and we loved getting splashed by waves on the rocky ledges. The water views are spectacular, with plenty of viewpoints around the property. Our room was comfortable and meticulously clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Negril Escalate Resort and Spa is a lovely escape south of the busy Seven Mile Beach area. The included breakfast and coffee were delicious, and some great bars and restaurants are within walking distance. Well worth visiting, and I’d definitely return.

It had a great feel back in the day, and there’s still plenty of potential here. The rooms are very nice, with kitchenettes, and the Caribbean Sea views, especially at sunset, are amazing. The pool deck overlooks the water and has a gazebo and a mini lighthouse. The ambiance could be amazing.

This was the dirtiest lodging I’ve ever stayed in. There were blood spots on the sheets and blood on the walls from mosquitoes that had been killed. The resort is falling apart, and it doesn’t look like they’re putting any of the money back into the place. I’d pay another $450 to erase this place from my memory. Any future stay at Motel 6 would feel like a five-star resort by comparison.

My wedding at this family-owned resort over Labor Day weekend was spectacular. The hotel accommodation and staff were wonderful and well worth the money, and my guests enjoyed their stay. The owners and staff worked tirelessly, going above and beyond to resolve every issue that came up and make my big day what I dreamed of and more. I’ll definitely come back when I’m in Jamaica again. And did I mention the food was good?
