It's in a good area, and most shops are within walking distance. Traffic can get pretty bad, though, and there's zero parking if you're using a rental car.

My mother and sister had a reservation for a twin room with two beds, but when they arrived in Amman today, they were told only a room with one bed and a sofa was available. After their 8-hour journey, my sister had to sleep on the sofa, and they didn't provide any extra bedding. Very disappointing.

I got a free room upgrade without asking, and they provided complimentary water too. The breakfast was a bit humble, but that wasn't an issue since there are lots of food options nearby. The hotel is in a quiet, safe area, within walking distance of several services. I booked it the same day and found the receptionist hospitable and helpful. For the price, service, and location, it's great value, and honestly better than some of the top rated hotels in the area. It feels underrated.

The surrounding area can be noisy at night, so it may not suit light sleepers. Even so, the hotel was very comfortable and clean, and the staff were professional and helpful. Breakfast was edible and adequate, if not the best in the world. I'd definitely stay again on a future visit.

For what you pay, this is very good value. I spent three nights at Crystal Hotel last month, and it was a good fit for a short stay. Everything was very good, and they serve breakfast. It was a simple meal, but good enough for me on my own. I'd recommend it to any solo traveler.
