The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was comfortable, with good beds and all the essentials. The complimentary coffee was excellent, and the wifi worked well. It’s a great location too, only 2mins on foot from the mini bus station to Wadi Rum and 10mins from the beach and downtown. Highly recommended! One thing to know: there’s no lift if you have heavy bags. My room was on the first floor, so it wasn’t a big deal for me. The credit card machine also wasn’t working, so I had to pay in cash.

Mohammed was a super friendly host who gave us great food recommendations and arranged transportation. Since we were traveling with a baby, he also went out of his way to find a beach-club that suited our needs. We had a great time at the Hotel Prestige. The room was spacious and clean, with a nice balcony, and they provide water and coffee/tea too. Thanks for everything, Mohammed, we really enjoyed our stay!

Right in central Aqaba, so getting around town was easy. The manager was especially helpful, sorting out taxis and bus tickets and sharing tips about the area. Our room was roomy and clean, and the air conditioning worked well. Good value too. I’d stay again.

I’d tell people to avoid this place. There were no towels or hot water, and when towels finally arrived in the morning, they were nearly black. Cockroaches were in the room, including one visible at the bottom right of the photo. The owner refused when we asked for half the fee back. Worst hotel experience I’ve had in Jordan, and I’d rate it below one star if I could.

The reception guys were lovely and helpful, but the room was crawling with cockroaches. We saw more than five. There was hair on the bedsheets too, and the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly. Jordan’s standards are much higher than this.
