We had a great stay. The hotel was amazing for the price, and the owner and other staff were lovely. The owner always tried to make us feel welcome.

My wife and I chose this place after seeing its Booking.com reviews, and we got it badly wrong. The sheets looked used and hadn't been changed, and we found bugs in both the bedroom and bathroom. Outside, the Old Port area felt like a wasteland of rubbish and derelict buildings. The promised beach view was actually of a trash-covered shore, and the surroundings felt like a dump or construction site. We had a hostile, dirty, miserable stay. I don't believe the positive reviews are genuine. Save your money and stay in a more civilized part of Aqaba. This place shouldn't be listed on Booking.com.

The listing says it's by the beach, but the shoreline below was covered in trash, and the area didn't feel pleasant or safe for tourists. Don't be fooled by the photos or high ratings. It was a stressful, hostile experience, and I strongly recommend staying somewhere else in Aqaba.

The staff didn't seem to care and were rude and unhelpful, and the night noise made it impossible to rest. The so-called beach access was to a trash-filled area that felt unsafe. Inside, the rooms were filthy, the beds smelled of sweat, and the bathrooms were disgusting. The online photos were completely misleading. I left early because the stay was unbearable. Even for a budget hostel, this is unacceptable. Book somewhere else in Aqaba.
