P Quattro Relax Hotel

I felt very safe here and have nothing bad to say about my stay. The hotel and rooms were fabulous, a pleasant surprise since I wasn't sure what to expect when I arrived. Staff were very accommodating, and both the breakfast and dinner buffet were fantastic. Tourists should know to let the staff carry their luggage to the room, with a tip if they wish, since that's their job and work is scarce in the area. Many thanks to everyone. I'd definitely stay again.

The facilities were inadequate, and the service made our stay very unsatisfactory. We stayed at P. Quattro Relax hotel while visiting Petra from 12/24 to 12/26’25. In my view, it doesn't meet 4-star standards: the hardware felt 3-star, and service was very low, especially from the daytime front desk staff and manager. The Wi-Fi was unstable throughout. We couldn't figure out the room heater controller and had to call the night-shift front desk for help, thanks to that staff member. The shower water wasn't hot enough, and our friends in another room had the same issue. Staff said they needed to adjust and raise the water temperature. In our bathroom, the hot and cold handle was installed the wrong way: hot water only came out when it was turned to the blue, cold side. The daytime check-in staff were impolite. On 12/25, our group had an 8:30 a.m. bus to catch, so we went to breakfast at 7:40 a.m. I had a plate of hot food and went over to the salad, ham, and bread area, where every plate was tightly wrapped in plastic. With my plate in one hand and nowhere to set it down, I politely asked the manager to have a staff member open the wrap for me and other guests. He told me to open the plates I wanted myself. I put my food on our table, went back to unwrap a plate and take some food, then returned. The manager went over and loosely put plastic wrap back on that plate. It left me feeling unwelcome and uncomfortable. I told our tour guide the next day. He contacted the hotel, and the manager's attitude improved noticeably after that. I appreciated the change, but it didn't make up for the negative experience during our stay. Based on what we experienced, I strongly recommend against choosing this hotel.

We did enjoy our one night here. Breakfast was included, with a range of vegetarian and meat dishes, plenty of teas and coffees, though no nondairy milk. The hotel food had a good variety, and the hotel is within walking distance of several restaurants. The room was clean and spacious, but in winter the tile made it extremely cold. The furniture left very little walking space between the bed and the chairs and table. Power shuts off when you remove the room key, so the AC and heater had to restart. We asked for blankets and waited a long time; staff brought comforters from other rooms instead of proper blankets. The bathroom fan didn't work, and the whole bathroom got wet. A fun little perk was being able to change the doorbell sound to different music. The massage chairs were a nice touch, though we couldn't read the remotes' Mandarin instructions.

On my second trip to Jordan, I stayed here for the first time a couple of days ago and loved everything about it. The staff were great and the service was fantastic. Since there's YouTube on the room TVs, it's nice for an English speaking person to unwind with a video after a day of sightseeing. A great place to stay if you're visiting beautiful Petra.
