We were most disappointed by the hotel's lack of empathy or willingness to find a reasonable solution. It left us feeling that enforcing penalties mattered more than building long-term relationships with travelers. A very unfortunate approach to hospitality. We had booked several rooms at this hotel in Wadi Musa for our trip to Jordan. Shortly before we were due to leave, a major conflict involving Israel, the United States, and Iran escalated in the region and disrupted air traffic widely. Our flight was cancelled, so there was no way for us to reach Jordan. The hotel refused any refund or flexibility and charged the full cancellation penalty. Their explanation was that “Jordan is safe and the airport is operating.” That may technically be true, but it doesn't address the fact that travelers may be unable to get there when flights are cancelled because of regional instability. Circumstances on this scale are beyond guests' control.

My flights were completely cancelled because of the ongoing war, making travel to the area impossible and high-risk. I had booked a Petra stay for what was meant to be an unforgettable trip and immediately asked for a free cancellation due to force majeure. The hotel refused and charged the full amount. They replied, “Jordan is safe and the airport is working,” disregarding that international flights were cancelled. Customer service showed zero empathy. During a global crisis, this is unacceptable and irresponsible. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

After exploring, we slept well because the nights were peaceful, and we enjoyed a delicious complimentary traditional breakfast with panoramic city views. The hotel is just a short walk from the Petra entrance and close to everything we needed. The rooms were spotless, with a comfortable bed and a stylish waterfall shower. The owner and staff were friendly from the moment we arrived and went out of their way to make our stay good. The place has beautiful modern decor and thoughtful details throughout. We appreciated their hospitality. The town itself was also welcoming. Everyone we met was kind and helpful, which made the visit more enjoyable. It felt like a beautiful, safe place to explore, and we'd encourage others to visit. We hope to see more of the area next time, and will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The dining hall has a beautiful balcony overlooking the area, but it wasn't clean. It's about a kilometer from the Petra Visitor Center. I didn't enjoy the experience and wouldn't recommend it at all.

The food was great and the view was even better. I stayed for 2 nights while visiting Petra, and the staff were gracious and friendly. Everyone went out of their way to make my visit a good one, especially Abdullah the part time cab driver, who seems to know everyone. Thanks again for a great stay!
