The toilet was dirty, the room was small, and there was a very unpleasant smell. The exhaust fan was so noisy I couldn’t sleep, and the air conditioner was old and hard to use.

For my training course at the Kobelco Driving School Akashi Training Center, I stayed here and found it clean, with daily room resets. It had the basics I needed to stay, bathe, rest, and sleep, and the heating worked well. Okubo Station is about a 5-minute walk away, with a pedestrian walkway connecting it to Aeon Akashi, which made shopping convenient. There aren’t restaurants inside the building, but chain restaurants, local shops, and convenience stores are all within a 5-minute walk. Wi-Fi is available, along with coin-operated washers and dryers for longer stays. You’ll need to buy detergent outside the building.
The one drawback is that there’s only one laundromat. Otherwise, the station is nearby, and there are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants around, so it’s easy to find what you need.
The only washing machine can be a bit of a problem. Otherwise, it’s a business hotel with what you need, and the front desk staff were very helpful.
The rooms are well equipped, but the air-conditioning fan was so loud in some of them that sleeping was difficult. Even the front desk couldn’t fix it. The rates are so cheap compared with other hotels that I guess this may be unavoidable. The hotel is on top of a building, and without a sign at the entrance it’s hard to find when you get close.
