Guesthouse Ama Terrace

I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely guesthouse on Amami Oshima. The kitchen has everything needed to cook, and the staff were so warm and friendly. Tomori beach is within walking distance, and they offer free rides to and from the airport. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

Nana was wonderful, so kind and helpful. I spent a full week here and loved the beautiful, thoughtfully designed common area. Looking forward to coming back!

Nana was a great host. The place was clean and nice, and I'd recommend it without hesitation.

The night sky and sunrise were beautiful, and I got to enjoy the natural surroundings so much. I stayed alone for one night, my first time in a guesthouse, and was nervous about the facilities. The room was clean and spacious, though, and I had a relaxing stay without any complaints. Noise came up in other reviews but didn't bother me much. There was a washlet, and both the shower pressure and hair dryer were good, things I often worry about on trips. There aren't shops or restaurants close by for everyday supplies, so it's best to bring what you need. The shared space did sell a few basics like instant ramen, snacks, and toothbrushes.
