The location suited us because we wanted to rest and take in the beautiful surroundings, though it could be a drawback for anyone wanting shops nearby. The views and the service would bring me back. Mr. Chuon was especially helpful with my family and me, taking time to explain how things worked at the hotel and the proper order for the Kaiseki, even though English isn’t his first language. Everyone was friendly. The rental private bath was spotless and comfortable, and the food was amazing. It was a wonderful stay.

We stayed with our parents, and the staff were especially attentive and caring toward the elderly. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we enjoyed the seafood and lobsters. It’s a little far out, but the shuttle bus made getting there manageable.

Our suite had its own terrace bath, plus a private dining room where we could watch a stunning sunset. The room was exceptional. Tanaka Makiko-San made the stay memorable with her warmth, humor, and thorough explanations. The gentleman in the parking area was also a great help, including during the daily 7:20am bird feeding. This was our most amazing family stay, and we’d love to come back.

The harbour views from both the hotel and the onsen were gorgeous, and dinner came with lovely hospitality. It’s a bit remote, but the drive was well worth it. Staff may not speak fluent English, though Google Translate made that easy enough.

Everyone was very friendly and kept checking that we were all right and had what we needed. We had both dinner and breakfast included, and both meals were excellent.
