APA Hotel Aomori Eki Kenchodori

Lawson is right across the street, and Aomori Station is about an 8-minute walk away. I stayed three nights and had what I needed. The air conditioning can't be adjusted, though. I had to open the window because the room felt stuffy and too warm.

Lawson is directly in front of the hotel, and the airport bus stop on the main street is just a few minutes away on foot. Aomori Station takes around 10 minutes to reach. The room itself was spacious, but the bathroom was cramped, and the shower curtain kept sticking to me, which was really irritating. Breakfast was the worst I've had at an APA hotel. There wasn't a main dish like grilled fish or beef, and the yogurt was so sour I wondered if it had gone bad. I sat at a corner table by the window and found around 20 dead small flies when I opened the curtain. It completely spoiled breakfast. I won't stay here again, and next time I'll try a different APA branch.

The room looked clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff gave good service. But the heat made it hard to sleep. There was only a heater, with no way to control the air conditioning from the room. Opening the window brought in cigarette smoke, and the smell was so harsh that my nose felt irritated all night and I couldn't sleep. The Wi-Fi wasn't very good either. The rest of the place needs work. Next time I'll check whether another hotel has an air-conditioning remote.

It costs much less, and it's in the same part of town as the other hotels.
