Court Hotel Asahikawa

What I’ll remember most is how kindly the staff helped me get my luggage back after I left it at the hotel, even though I was already staying a long way away. I’m very grateful, especially to the person who helped with that. The rooms were clean and good, and getting around from the hotel was easy. I’d recommend it first if I get the chance or if someone asks me where to stay, and I want to thank the staff again.

There are several places to eat and convenience stores within walking distance, and the hotel is close to Asahikawa JR station. It provides coffee, a microwave, and an ice dispenser. The rooms are standard size for a Japanese hotel. Don’t lose your room key, or you’ll be charged 1650 yen. If you’re driving, the hotel parking only fits small cars. There are other parking lots nearby, charging 600yen-1100 yen per day.

The location works well, a short walk from Asahikawa station and the busy area. Wi-Fi was quite good, and there’s room to open about one full-size suitcase. The hotel feels a bit old and small. It has no-smoking rooms. Parking costs about 1,100 JPY per night, with nearby Times lots at a similar price. The hotel lot is quite small and only fits certain cars, roughly up to Toyota Yaris size.

The rooms are clean and cosy, and the older hotel is still well maintained. The staff service could use plenty of improvement, though it was acceptable.
