The location was great, near Asahikawa station, Aeon mall, and ichi doori 1st Street, where illuminated ice sculptures were displayed. I stayed two nights in a single room at this budget business hotel. It was a little old, but breakfast was reasonably priced, and there’s a public bath in the basement with a laundry machine inside. The staff I spoke with were generally very friendly. Some could speak English when I checked in, while others couldn’t. They asked me to choose a buffet time from the available options. I also had to hand in my key when going out and collect it again when I returned. Be sure to lock your room when you leave, since the door doesn’t lock automatically.

This hotel fn sucks. There was no air conditioning in August 2025, even though overnight temperatures were above 30 C. After we complained, we were told the system was down. I asked why the rates were so high when the room felt like a sauna. They doubled the prices because of the increase in foreign tourists, while ignoring the need for air conditioning. Avoid! I can’t believe this place is owned by Japanese.

I stayed for seven nights. The service was great, and the hotel had everything I needed, plus freebies like the onsen, breakfast, and a free vending machine. The price was very reasonable. I’d take off a star for the spotty internet, though. During check-in hours especially, calls or YouTube would disconnect for a few minutes now and then.

The room was a standard, clean business hotel room. Breakfast had the good selection I’d expect from hotels in this region. Having seicomart on the first floor was very convenient.

The room was okay, and the location is great, right in front of Asahikawa station. But the service was lousy and showed no empathy. Two counter staff were rude and wouldn’t let us leave the hotel after we were a little late checking out. I can’t understand why service staff would be so rude and uncaring. I was disappointed. Do NOT stay here, especially because of the rude, bullying guy shown in the picture.
