The area is quiet but there isn’t much to do nearby, so this felt like a place to get away from the city, unwind in the onsen, and take things slowly over good food. It’s also a little awkward to reach without a car. We could get an Uber there, but getting one back was harder, and the onsen staff kindly arranged a van for our return to the city. After the long trip, we were greeted with hot green tea, a snack, and a warm towel, which made us feel welcome right away. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff carefully noted everyone’s dietary restrictions. Dinner was one of the best omakase meals we’ve had. They paid so much attention to the details that we wished we could give them six stars.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Harazuru no Mai. The staff looked after us from the moment we stepped out of the taxi, and continued to take good care of us throughout. Dinner and breakfast, both included in the half-board stay, were tasty, and the staff took time to explain each dish.

We didn’t see or hear the other groups during our stay, so the private dining rooms really helped make the place feel secluded. The food was delicious, and both breakfast and dinner were beautifully presented. Our room was spacious, clean, and better than we expected, with free drinks included. The staff were attentive from the moment we arrived. We came as a family for a relaxing getaway and would definitely come back.

We had an in-room onsen and received good service at this lovely accommodation. On our family trip, the staff even set up a baby bed in the dining room in case our little one needed to sleep. Such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended.

The room had a river view and plenty of complimentary drinks. I also liked that they use amenities from foreign brands for guests. The onsen water could be turned off, which made things quiet.
