Everything was super clean, and the room was warm and a great size. The free coffee machine was a nice bonus. Breakfast was simple, with toast, fruit and a drink, but a welcome touch. My one suggestion is to let people book the onsen privately in the evening, since it really only fits one person at a time.

The hot spring was cozy, and my room was clean. The housekeepers were really welcoming, too. For the price, it was a great stay, especially with the station nearby. A great choice for a solo trip to Yuzawa for skiing.

The bento breakfast was delicious, one of the best we’ve had, and the room had useful basics for our two-day trip: a hair dryer, towels and enough hangers. Yuzawa House is a good fit for skiing in Yuzawa, just a four-minute walk from Echigo Yuzawa. We enjoyed our 3d2n visit, though I’d keep a stay here short, around 1-2 days. We could hear people talking as they walked past because the door didn’t block much sound. The laundry machine downstairs was also audible from our third-floor room. We booked on Agoda but got no check-in details or information booklet, so we were left outside without the entry code. The WiFi password wasn’t provided either. Those were small hassles, but worth mentioning.
