From the balcony, I could watch the view over the "Hibiki Sea" change through the day. Every so often, Japanese self-defense jets roared overhead on their way to a base in the distance. The hotel is in a lovely spot for taking in the scenery. The building and facilities are a little old, but that gives them some charm. Staff were polite, and the traditional Japanese breakfast made with local ingredients was delicious. The view of the ”Hibiki Sea" made it even better. I also enjoyed the outdoor bath and the fresh air, though the low fence for privacy and safety blocked part of the view.

The food was really delicious, and the sea view was beautiful. Spring is a lovely time here. wonderful

Loved the walking path by the ocean, and the hotel has an Onsen too. Great place with a sea view.

I always enjoy the traditional Japanese meals here, especially the fresh seafood and dishes I wouldn't normally get to try. The kaiseki portions can be pretty big depending on your appetite, so go to the dining room hungry. The restaurant staff were so nice, thank you! The room was spacious and clean, with a balcony looking out to the ocean. There's a coastal walking course right by the hotel too. The bath was clean and relaxing, and you can see the ocean from the open-air bath. My kids liked it enough to go twice a day, once in the morning and again at night. There's a small games corner near the bath where they always spend at least 30 minutes playing UFO catcher whenever we stay.

I came for a day spa and lunch on a Sunday, so the large public bath was full. The open-air bath faces the sea without anything blocking the view, which made it feel spacious and comfortable. At lunch, they had sukiyaki in addition to the menu posted on the website. I ordered the "Large Shrimp Fried Set Meal." They'd removed the tough head shells, and the shrimp were incredibly tender and delicious. I ordered two and wound up eating one whole, from head to tail. They brought water at the start, and I liked being able to help myself to iced coffee, hot or cold tea, and juices whenever I wanted. The restaurant staff were very friendly, and the big windows all around made the room feel bright and open. One thing I wish bathing facilities would do better, and this isn't just an issue at places like this, is clean up hair and other debris from the changing room floors more diligently. Public lodgings across the country have dwindled a lot since their heyday. I hope this facility stays around.
