We had a great selection of private hot springs, with no reservation needed. You could check the information board to see which one was free, then go in and lock the door. There was a nice sea view while bathing. We were also lucky enough to catch a small fireworks festival, and the staff gave us a fireworks pack to celebrate. I'd love to stay again. The staff were friendly and kept communicating with us despite the language barrier, doing their best to explain everything about the stay. The food was amazing: the lobster sashimi was fresh and tasty, and the teppanyaki wagyu beef was juicy and tender. One of my best hot spring hotel experiences in Japan.

Fresh seafood is at the heart of the restaurant's cooking, which suits a seaside inn. The dishes are simple, but that lets the ingredients and the chef's skill come through. It made for a really luxurious meal. Every guest room, including the new wing that opened in July, has a balcony open-air bath, so you can soak privately without worrying about other people. There's also one complimentary private open-air bath and three complimentary private saunas. The private outdoor bath with the spectacular view is one of a kind. With several different baths to try, we got to enjoy the high-quality hot spring water, which is 100% natural spring water.

Dinner was fresh, plentiful, and very tasty. The set for two was reasonably priced, though the portions were so big that I saw several guests unable to finish theirs. It was sad to see food go to waste. The hotel was clean, the room was quite large, and the staff were nice. It's near the beach and has a good view. The hot spring has indoor and outdoor baths, though some people may find it a little small. There are also three private hot spring rooms on the hotel roof, each with a different view. They're open 24 hours, and going very early is a good way to catch the sunrise.

We spent four hours there and felt it was worth it. The private onsen overlooks the beach, and the food was delicious with plenty of dishes. The service was great too, patient and accommodating with the kids.
