The bath was easily the best part of my one-night stay. I felt unbelievably relaxed after trying the sauna and the three baths at different temperatures. I only managed to dip my toes in the coldest one, but I imagine it would feel great after the sauna. There were even ice pops afterward. The staff were friendly, the AC cooled the room nicely, and although I could see the train station, I barely heard it. The bed, though, was hard as stone. I know I'm not the average sleeper, but I need a little softness, and this mattress had none. I woke up sore several times during the night. I'd probably stay again, but I'd bring extra pillows so my back doesn't hurt in the morning. Wi-Fi was the other downside. At best I had three bars in my room across all my devices, which made browsing slow and videos pause. It wasn't a major issue, though.

The room AC was the part that let me down. There wasn't a separate unit, just a vent I could adjust, and it blew hot air when I switched it on. It was about 20 degrees outside, but my room felt like a sauna. Opening the only window helped with the air, though then I could hear the Odakyu Lines trains. I hope they improve the system. I chose the hotel for its public bath and sauna, and those were a lot of fun even with one pool out of service during my visit. Getting a complimentary alcoholic drink was a nice extra. A few non-alcoholic choices would give guests more variety. The location was really convenient, about a two-minute walk from Hon-Astugi station.

The room was tiny, though the bathroom was surprisingly huge. The sauna was nice. With the train station noise, you'll need earplugs.

There's a public sauna and bath, plus a laundry room and a room with comic books. They serve free rice soup at night. The hotel is eco-friendly and sits by the east gate of Hon Atsugi station.

The rooms are compact, like in many Japanese hotels, but they were clean and cozy, and the rates were reasonable. Breakfast had a good selection, too. The front desk staff were polite and friendly. It's right near Hon-Atsugi station in the middle of the city, so I'd happily stay here again if I'm back.
