We called during the day to book a room for our trip. The early check-in was the main reason we picked this hotel, and getting in at 3 PM was a nice surprise. It meant we could rest there before heading out for dinner. There were two small cans of juice in the fridge, plus another two after we filled out the usual check-in form, as mentioned in the food menu guide. They also offered free food and desserts if you met certain conditions. I took bath salts from the elevator, then found two more in the bathroom, which made me laugh. I didn't expect this kind of service from a love hotel. They really go all out. The bathroom was the one weak point. It had a jetted tub, but otherwise felt ordinary, including the lighting. The glass door leaves the whole bathroom visible, even the face-washing area, and that made me uneasy. Still, I thought it was a good stay.

I won't stay here again. When I called ahead about availability and rates, they said four rooms were open and each cost 5300, so I decided to come. At payment, the bill was almost twice that. The front desk grumbled but agreed to charge 5300 this time, then banned me from the hotel. I don't mind the ban as much as being treated like I was entirely at fault when they had given me the wrong information. The phone service was sloppy and awful too.

The hotel itself seemed fine, but the pricing left a bad impression. The signs outside and in the parking lot show very cheap rates, with “membership rate” printed in tiny letters. You only learn the actual price after getting out of the car and going inside, or by using the intercom. It's twice the advertised price. The way it's presented feels like the rules change after the fact, and that was disappointing.

The room was very clean, and I had a really nice overnight stay. Thanks very much. I'd stay here again next time I'm in Nagano Prefecture.
