Beppu Daiiti Hotel

The location made getting around easy, just a three-minute walk from Beppu station. I was traveling alone and found the single room just the right size. Downstairs there was the usual range of amenities, plus coin laundry, a microwave, and a vending machine. I also loved the comfortable yukata, much better than the separate top and bottoms some hotels offer. The staff were lovely, both at reception and in the breakfast kitchen. I really enjoyed my stay at Beppu Daiiti hotel a couple of weeks ago, and I'll stay there again next time I'm back in Beppu.

Just a one or two minute walk from Beppu main station, so the location is super convenient for solo travelers. The room is a little small, but if you're not a giant, it's enough for one person. You get privacy along with all that easy access.

The staff were kind, quick, and efficient, especially the night team. One employee, a little overweight, noticed my shoes were still damp and brought over the shoe dryer without me asking. He was kind and sharp. I wish I'd caught his name, and hope the hotel management gives him recognition. I'm very grateful to them all.

We booked three rooms, and they were small enough that it was hard for two people to move around. Hotels in Beppu seem to be on the expensive side.
