Miho-san, the host, was so sweet and made my stay so much better. I loved it here and already miss her 😭😭❤️. The futon was really comfortable, and there were enough blankets to keep me warm all night. There’s air conditioning and heating in the room, too. The location was convenient, within good walking distance of the Hells of Beppu. Hyotan onsen is very close, and restaurants and convenience stores are a little farther out, around a 5-7 minute walk. I’d definitely come back to Beppu and stay here again ❤️❤️.

The neighborhood was quiet and lovely, with steam rising all around. The host was incredibly kind, and even offered us a ride to the hot springs farther away. Her dog was adorable, too. Our room was spacious and clean, and the futons were very comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of the main attractions, a Michelin star onsen, and bus stops. Hope we get to return someday.

Kannawa is a great area, right at the heart of the onsen spots. The best part for me was Miho san, such a lovely and welcoming host ❤️❤️

The owner made the visit special. She was energetic and so kind, and gave us lots of personalized tips about where to go and what to prioritize. It’s clear she loves helping people make the most of Beppu. Thanks for such a great stay! The place itself was fantastic too, with a great location, comfortable and roomy rooms, a lovely view, and a good price.

Check-in was a great introduction to the area. The hostess explained the amenities so we’d feel comfortable, and showed us the rooftop view over the city. The guest house sits in the center of the most beautiful part of Beppu, among the steam chimneys and close to one of the best Onsen I’ve tried. Our room was really cool, with comfortable futons and a separate living area. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, clean toilets, and parking right next to the building. Very recommended!
