We went during the off season, in the rainy season, and the room was still on the expensive side. Even so, we gave DoubleTree by Hilton Okinawa a try and ended up enjoying the stay. With so few guests around, it felt almost as if we had the hotel to ourselves, which made everything peaceful and relaxing. The staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help throughout, and the location made it easy to get around and explore. Despite the price, we're glad we stayed. The service and calm atmosphere made it a pleasant visit.

The front desk team really stood out. I can't remember her name, but the Japanese lady who checked us in on 31 Dec was so kind and friendly. The hotel would be our first choice if I get another chance to return to Okinawa. It's only about a minute from American Village. Both of our rooms and the public areas were very clean. I did notice that the lobby toilet hadn't been flushed properly, perhaps because some foreign guests aren't sure how to flush it. I hope the hotel will put up a few guide labels.

I spent 20 nights here and loved being right in the middle of American Village, with so much to do within walking distance. The staff were super friendly, and the ocean and fireworks views were perfect. My only downside was having to walk over to the other Hilton hotel to use its fitness facility. Apart from that, I loved my stay.

Your online photos showed baby amenities, so we assumed the hotel was welcoming to babies. I emailed to ask for three basic things for my baby, a baby bath, bed fencing, and a sterilizer, and you said no to all of them just because my baby is 1 year old. How ridiculous.

The place is immaculate and very well kept, and the staff are courteous and professional. Their service made me think about how American customer service could improve. Prices can get very high depending on the season and demand, but I think the quality and location make it worthwhile. I'll return whenever I can.
