Hotel Springs Makuhari Premier

Good value in a convenient spot, just a short walk from Kaihinmakuhari Station. There's a nearby park that's pleasant in any season, as well as shops, restaurants, and an outlet mall. A handy place to stay for Disney or Makuhari Messe.

The room layout worked really well, and the hotel is in a handy spot, with the railway and bus stations just a short walk away. Staff were friendly and efficient. The beds and pillows felt too firm. We could hear people walking and moving furniture above us, which we think may have been a family room with pull-out beds. It sounded like children were running around at night, though we couldn't hear anyone talking. Turning the air con up high drowned out the noise.

I was pleasantly surprised by the neat, modern, spacious rooms and the good breakfast. It's also ideally located near the train station. The one downside is that reception isn't staffed around the clock. If you arrive late at night, you have to check in at the hotel next door.

My wife and I stayed here near the end of our honeymoon trip to Japan, and it's the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in. The staff were especially attentive and friendly, and the hotel itself was beautiful. The food was amazing, too.
