I stayed here twice, and both visits were unforgettable. The hosts are amazing and kind, and the place gives you a chance to experience everyday Japanese life and culture. It's a little way from the city, but once you're staying there, that doesn't matter.
It was like staying at my grandparents' place in the countryside, so I felt comfortable letting my children play. As a single mother, I wanted to take them on a summer camp and give them some time in nature, and this program was just right for the price. We made wonderful memories and will definitely join again next year!
Unexpectedly, staying here led me to learn how to gather wild vegetables and cook outdoors. I tend to plan only for bad things that might happen, and lunch surrounded by nature felt especially rewarding after that. Though it was just a day trip, not an overnight stay, it felt very worthwhile for the price. There's no public transport access, but the instructor kindly drove me to and from JR Futsukaichi. Thank you for the warm hospitality.
