The room was outdated, but that was fine since we only used it to sleep. The air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted by us. Breakfast was an okay standard international spread, though the menu was the same on both days. There’s free coffee at reception, and it tasted pretty good. The station is very close, just a 2-3 minute walk indoors, which was handy with luggage and during a blizzard. Staff spoke good English. They let us leave our bags overnight while we stayed in otaru, then we came back to the hotel the following night. Food nearby is limited, but there’s a local dish, Caraku curry. The supermarket is just across from the hotel in the 2pm direction.

There are some useful perks: free parking across the street, free breakfast, and the AEON mall opposite. The property is connected to the train station, too. The room felt like a 3-star place that had seen better days, and cleanliness wasn’t great. I found hair on the bed, and the bathroom seemed to have some mold issues. There weren’t many outlets. A bathroom sign warned that hot water might last only 10 minutes, though I didn’t run out. The temperature did vary during my short shower.

The breakfast was delicious, and the location is ideal, right in the station plaza with plenty of shops a short walk away. The rooms are a little worn and dated.

The bathroom was amazing, I loved it! The hotel is in a prime spot, about 7 Mins from Chitose airport, with free parking opposite the building. Breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly.
