I picked this budget hotel for its handy access to the Asakusa Line and Haneda Airport, and that worked out well for my one-night stay. The room was small, and the bedroom wall had some scuffs, but the bed was really comfortable and both the bed and bathroom were clean. It was just what I needed, and I’d recommend staying here.

The breakfast was a highlight for me: the toast and Japanese breakfast were great, and the coffee was very good. At APA Hotel Higashi Nihonbashi hotel, I also found an oven for heating food and an ice maker, with good amenities overall. The room was clean and comfortable, with a nice Japanese touch. Staff were friendly and attentive from check-in, and the location made exploring the city easy. I’d happily recommend it for a comfortable stay in Japan.

The location is handy, with several major train lines intersecting nearby, and 711 is about a three-minute walk away. Just know that the 711 seemed understocked. The hotel itself was disappointing: there’s no laundry in the building, so you have to go outside to find a coin laundry. My room was dirty, including the walls and smelly shower curtain, the sheets didn’t smell fresh, and I couldn’t control the temperature.

If you’re comfortable finding your way around Tokyo, this clean, very quiet hotel in Nihonbashi is a great option. It’s beside the Asakusa Line, though a little removed from Chuo JR and the Shinjuku Line. Without knowing how to get around, it may feel a bit inconvenient.

Getting to either airport was convenient, and the hotel is good with a good breakfast. You can pick Japanese or Western food. One small drawback: the fridge only works while you’re in the room, though there’s an ice machine on the second floor.
