The apartment itself was comfortable, and I had a really enjoyable couple of days there. It’s spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen, a washing machine with detergent, a huge drying rack, and a living room. The bed was soft, which I liked, and the pillows were a good thickness. Getting in was a mess. We hadn’t received any check-in instructions, so we emailed the company for the access codes. They didn’t reply for almost an hour, and we were stuck waiting outside in 36°C heat. We only got a response after contacting booking.com customer service. There doesn’t seem to be an email address listed online, so I’ve attached photos of the information sheets at the main gate. Hopefully that helps other guests get their codes sooner. Even with that frustrating check-in, I’d still recommend staying here. It would’ve been five stars if the arrival had gone better.

The toilet was five-star, like the rest of Japan, and the building felt secure and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed had a nice firmness, and the WiFi worked well. One window let in too much morning light because its curtain was white.

I got backache from the bed because it was much too soft, and there was a dead bug in the toilet. The bath also made a constant loud knocking noise whenever the water wasn’t shut off properly. I didn’t feel safe here. The entrance to a ten-floor building with two or three apartments per floor uses a four-digit code sent by email, and the building is tucked into a strange corner of town.

The room was roomy, comfortable, and generally clean, with the bathroom and toilet in separate areas. I liked being able to cook, though there were no seasonings, so you’ll need to bring your own. There’s also a convenience store nearby. I chose this place for a concert at the Fukuoka International Center, which was an easy walk away. Getting there from Fukuoka Airport was a little inconvenient. I’d stay again if I come back for another concert.

There are lots of convenience stores nearby, and frequent buses make getting to the city center easy. Inside, the old building has been nicely renovated, and the separate bathroom and toilet are convenient. The humidifier made the room comfortable, and the cooking tools, washing machine, and vacuum cleaner made it feel like home, even for a longer stay. The mattress was too soft and uncomfortable for sleeping, and there aren’t many restaurants close by, so you have to look around for somewhere to eat. Even so, I’d really recommend it.
