Royal Hotel Hoteiya

I stayed in a Japanese-style room for my 11th night, and found it relaxing and a good fit for anyone who likes that style. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. I spend more than six months a year in hotels for work, and this is the best one I’ve stayed in. If work takes me to Fukushima again, I’ll definitely come back.

There’s no breakfast, so you’ll have to pick up a bento somewhere if you want a morning meal. For dinner, there are good restaurants within walking distance. The front desk staff were very helpful, and the Wi-Fi was pretty fast.

[Business Trip Review] I slept well in a clean, quiet room, with a friendly welcome from both the male and female front desk staff. They’d provided an air purifier and humidifier, plus a three-stage heater beside the bed, so the room felt comfortable for both temperature and humidity. Within walking distance there are convenience stores, supermarkets, pharmacies, bento shops, izakayas, bars, and plenty of other businesses. It’s a very appealing area.

I was working at a nearby site and found the room clean and comfortable, with very friendly staff. That’s all I need for a perfect stay. The only downsides are the walk from the station and the distance to convenience stores, both a bit far.
