The host was amazing and welcomed us warmly even though we'd accidentally booked the wrong dates and arrived two days early. We even had a lot of fun playing board games together. This fully equipped apartment has just about every amenity you could need. It sleeps four to six comfortably, with a double bed, two single bunks, and two Japanese-style futons in a neat little loft. The whole building was warm and cozy in winter. There's a full kitchen with all the utensils, a great shower and bathroom, a TV, and plenty of lounge areas. We'd absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone. Five stars.

Before covid, I stayed at the guesthouse and got a very good rest. The owner was lovely, offered a pickup from the train station, suggested places to visit, and was keen to chat and make me feel at home. I'd highly recommend it if you're after a taste of the Japanese countryside and its hospitality. Without a vehicle, be ready to walk or cycle. Also check your dinner options and plan ahead.

All four of us were happy with our two-night stay. The house had full furnishings and kitchenware, and the owner was a very kind, lovely lady.
