The staff were great, and the place had a warm feel. Rooms are simple but clean and tidy, with secure parking. It’s only about a 150 m walk from the station. I’d go for a top-floor room for the best views, especially with winter snow.
Honestly, I wondered if the price was right. It’s much cleaner and tidier than other large business hotels, and the receptionist was kind and pleasant. I’ll come back.
It was quiet and clean, and the price seemed reasonable. The rooms and bathrooms are compact, though they felt roomier than I expected. The building is large, but the place still has a cozy, family-run business hotel atmosphere. Smoking is only allowed in the designated area on the first floor, and the fines for smoking elsewhere are hefty. I stayed nearby after an evening tour at the Sapporo Beer Factory and dinner at a restaurant. I booked room-only since I had an early Sapporo sightseeing tour the next morning. Eniwa Station is a short walk away. Otherwise, it’s a typical business hotel without anything especially memorable.
I used the spacious room for a workcation and had no trouble with the wired LAN. It’s a quiet business hotel right by the station, with coin laundry. There’s a clothesline in the bathroom, though clothespins would be handy. There’s no large public bath. The hotel may also be used by family members visiting someone in the nearby hospital. Food options around the station are scarce late at night. A taxi ride to the old downtown area takes about one meter. Otherwise, there’s McDonald’s near Bunkyo University, and if the station 7-Eleven is open, stocking up there may be useful, especially in winter. Breakfast is available by reservation at the attached restaurant, booked by the previous day. It was 1,200 yen as of December 2025. The restaurant serves lunch on weekdays but not dinner. Around Eniwa, Google’s opening hours can be out of date, so calling ahead may save a wasted trip. Some places have turned customers away despite being open, apparently because they lacked staff.
The hotel’s a great option after an ESCON event, with a very convenient spot close to the station. The rooms are older, but clean, and I liked that the whole place is non-smoking. There aren’t any convenience stores or shops nearby, which is the only drawback, though that’s not the hotel’s fault.
