The staff were so welcoming and accommodating, and the facilities were clean and well kept. The capsule rooms were comfortable too. It's handy for Fuji station, with lots of good restaurants nearby. A great option if you're staying in Fuji city or just passing through. I'd definitely recommend it.

This social hostel is meant to bring people together, with chances to meet locals and visit bars, so it's more than just somewhere to sleep. The owner has lived in the area for years and knows plenty of things to do nearby. He's South African and speaks perfect English, which lets him bridge Western and Japanese culture. The capsules are a good size and convenient, and you can see Fuji City train station from the lobby. I'd happily stay again, 10/10.

It costs 500 yen per person to leave your luggage before check-in, for some reason. There's no ventilation in the rooms, so it feels like sleeping in a sauna unless you leave the door open. Wouldn't try it again, 1/10.

There's a good vibe here, and speaking English is easy because the owner is South African. The hostel is handy for Shin-Fuji station, with bars, restaurants, and convenience stores all within walking distance.
