The place looked almost brand new and came fully equipped, which was more than I expected. It overlooks Fuji Mountain and is only about 850m from Kawaguchi Station. I'd stay here again.

The house is cute and private, and it looks great. The location is fine, about a 10-minute walk from the train. It also has a good kitchen and dining table, and is well equipped. But there was a horrible smell inside, like a dead body, and it bothered us a lot. The house sits by the train tracks, so you hear and feel each train passing. If you're sensitive to noise, keep that in mind.
