The room was larger than what I've had in big-city hotels like Osaka or Tokyo, and the location made it easy to get around. JR station is just across the road, reachable by elevator in front of AMU plaza. There's a convenience store like Family Mart nearby, and Yoshinoya restaurant is next door. Lots of transport options are close by, and you can put luggage in a locker before check-in. There are plenty of lockers and they're easy to use. Those are the hotel's good points. The worst part for me was one staff member's attitude. He was incredibly rude, as if he didn't want to work in customer service, and made me feel terrible and discriminated against because I'm a foreigner. Check-in is through self-service kiosks, and when I asked for help, he stood there silently and sighed instead of helping. He eventually handled everything, perhaps because I'd spent a lot of time there and he wanted to get back to the staff room to rest. I've been to Japan more than five times, and this Japanese staff member was one of the rudest people I've encountered.

The sunlight and view made a difference: my room looked out beyond the neighboring building and got natural light. The room wasn't especially large, but it didn't feel cramped either. The mix of traditional and modern design looked classy. Service and the hotel itself were fine, just okay.

Breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful 😊. The room felt fairly spacious by Japanese standards, and the hotel is really close to Nagasaki station. A nice place to stay!

There’s luggage storage in the lobby, and parking is available for a fee in the garage tower right behind the hotel. The rooms were clean, well equipped, and the hotel is conveniently placed near the train station, shops, and lots of restaurants. Simple, but a great stay.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from and the coffee was great. It runs from 6:30-9:30AM, and there’s even an automatic onigiri machine, though I didn't try it. We stayed two nights in March 2025 in a double room. It had a private bathroom with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and towels, plus a kettle with free tea and coffee and a mini-fridge. The hotel is clean and handy for getting around Nagasaki, about a five-minute walk from the station if you use the pedestrian bridges, or three minutes from the bus terminal.
