The best part of the house was the sunrise view of Mt. Fuji from the balcony and even the kitchen. I was too chicken to step outside in the cold, so I watched from indoors with tea and bread from the local bakery. The view alone was worth the price. The house is clean, modern, and spacious, with a patio, outdoor furniture, and grill in the backyard. Bikes are available to rent. It’s in a residential area, about a 5-10 minute walk from the train station and some local restaurants. Parking is in a small lot around the corner. There was no ramp, so parking involved a little adventure getting the car over the curb. Inside, the ground floor has a giant shower room by Japanese standards and a separate toilet near the entrance, across from the main tatami sleeping room. There are fold-up mattresses, sheets, and a comforter set out for each person, with extras in the closet. Upstairs is a full kitchen with cookware, utensils, and a fridge, plus a TV and a comfortable large futon that could also work as a bed.

I stayed with my parents, and they really liked the place. It’s within walking distance of Kawaguchiko Station. The weather was good, so we could enjoy a lovely Mount Fuji view from the balcony and the dining area while we ate. We were satisfied overall. For a little more privacy and safety, I’d suggest adding a blind curtain to the entrance door. Thank you.

The apartment was well equipped and the futon was comfortable. It was quiet both inside and outside, and the town felt calm. You can see Mt. Fuji right there when you wake up, and there’s even a PS4 if you want to play while looking at the mountain. Restaurants, convenience stores, parking, and other facilities are around town. From the train station it’s about a 20-minute walk, but it’s a relaxed one. Staff were quick to respond. Everything was good; I’d just suggest adding a sign to make it clear which of the two apartments is which.

Mt. Fuji was visible from the living room and right from the dining table. The villa itself is a lovely place to relax and breathe some fresh air. I’ll definitely come back. I can’t get the place out of my mind.
