The Gate Hostel Shonan Fujisawa

The owner was so thoughtful that we had a comfortable stay without any inconvenience. We also stayed close to the Hakone Ekiden route and got to cheer from the front row. It was nice to spend time together with my parents and family in the same space. There was a separate room for the teenage boys, with game consoles and massage chairs, so we could have fun together across generations.

The owner made the whole stay feel welcoming, and I came away really enjoying my trip. The building is new, clean, and well equipped, so I was comfortable from beginning to end. Simply the best. I'd happily stay here again.

I felt comfortable here during my week-long stay, and the place was very clean, which put me at ease about hygiene. It was affordable too. The owner was warm and happy to suggest good places to eat in Fujisawa. I'd love to come back.

There are lots of restaurants and shops nearby, and the station is close, so getting around is easy. The building was renovated this year, and both inside and out feel new and clean. If you're driving, you'll need to use a private coin parking lot. There are showers but no tubs, so a proper soak means visiting a nearby public bath.
