Friendly people, clean rooms, and good value. There's a shower and washing machine, and toothbrushes are provided. Be aware that sound carries a lot from both outside and inside. The Japanese-style rooms have futons with thin mattresses and pillows; that was fine for us, but worth knowing. Air conditioning is available, though it costs a 100¥ coin for each two hours.

The owners were welcoming, and the room was large and cosy. The facilities, including the shower and toilet, are good and almost new. It's a handy base for Enoshima and Kamakura. Sleep can be disturbed by the nearby busy road and the emergency exit sign lighting the room at night. Air conditioning and parking cost extra, and the Wi-Fi reception isn't very good.

I thought the room and location were decent for a cheap hotel from my earlier experience, but the owner's attitude this time has put me off completely. I contacted them because my schedule was busy and I'd be late. After seeing online that another guest had checked in at 10pm, I asked about it, but was told to find somewhere else if I arrived after 9pm. If late check-in isn't allowed, they shouldn't make exceptions for only some guests. I was late for my own reasons, so I accept that part was my fault. But the booking app also canceled the later nights I had planned, even though I was staying multiple nights. The check-in window is only four hours, from 5pm to 9pm, which feels very short for a lodging facility. With that attitude, I don't want to stay here. No matter how cheap it is, I won't use it again. One star.
