Toyoko Inn Shonan Kamakura Fujisawa Station Kita

The rooms are compact, as you'd expect in Japan, but they had everything we needed. Breakfast was good, and the location worked really well for us, with Fujisawa railway station very close by. I stayed with my family. The language difference made check-in take longer.

The view outside is a bit stark, and the window only opens a little at the top. Inside, though, the facilities are almost all new. It's a new Toyoko-inn about three minutes from Fujisawa station, and the staff are very kind, though they speak only Japanese. Breakfast is served, and the toast and coffee were pretty decent. Thanks for that :-)

For me the price was right, and I'd stay again. The train and bus stations are an easy walk away. I was there three nights, and the room was very clean. Staff were helpful even though my Japanese is extremely limited. Breakfast was very good, though the service options were limited. Joining the toyoko club can help during your stay.

I used this as a base for three nights while exploring the area and Enoshima. It was clean and comfortable, and the price was excellent. The staff were fantastic, as usual, and breakfast was fresh and filling. Several railway lines are close by, but the noise didn't bother me. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.
