Asuite Hakata by ASUMIRU

The room's cleanliness was a real disappointment. I found a large bag of garbage tucked away when I arrived, and there was a used comb from the previous guest on the floor. The bathroom drain cover was also left off. Housekeeping had clearly been neglected, and that standard of hygiene is unacceptable.

The rooms were beautiful, clean, and quiet, and the staff were kind. This hotel and its people are lovely. Some reviewers seem to blame the staff when they haven't read the information before booking, or expect applause simply because they're paying customers. I don't agree with those complaints. For me, this place deserves more than five stars.

There are lots of food shops nearby, and many attractions are around a ten-minute walk away. The location is great. The room was a little small but still manageable, and I'd still call it a very excellent hotel 😍

I found the staff friendly, and the room had a comfortable bed with a classic Japanese look and a modern touch. It's a nice boutique-style place in a good location. My early train meant I missed breakfast, so I can't comment on it. I really enjoyed the stay and would definitely return on my next visit to Fukuoka!
