Fukuoka Guesthouse CAMP

The rooms are clean, and guests from around the world chatted and made friends during my stay. It’s a great hostel. It may not be close to the subway, metro, underground, MRT or MTR. I guess the bus is fine, but I didn’t check.

I spent six nights here. It was cheap, everything was clean, and the staff were super nice and helpful. You can meet new people too. A very good experience.

The common space isn’t big, but it’s extremely cozy, and we really enjoyed our stay. The hostel is brand new, with cozy bunk beds. The kitchen was surprisingly well equipped, and there was free coffee and tea all the time. The washroom, shower and toilet were always very clean. We’d come back anytime. :)

The bed was wide and comfortable, but the sound insulation is nonexistent. If your roommates are inconsiderate, you won’t get much sleep. I don’t stay in hostels often, so maybe my expectations are off, but over 150 euros for one night for two people felt too expensive, even during a holiday week. It’s a dorm room shared with five other people, and the facilities could potentially be used by 12 more, with one toilet and sink for 12 beds. WiFi is available throughout the guesthouse, with a separate network on each floor. Ask the staff for the details, since they forgot to tell us. Towels and amenities cost extra, though other places provide them free, and the local stay tax is charged at check-in. This may not suit people who aren’t used to hostel-style accommodation.
