Hotel JAL City Fukuoka Tenjin

We visited in mid-December with two adults and two kids, and really liked the hotel and its location. It’s clean, close to the subway, and under a seven-minute walk to Tenjin station and shopping. From Akasaka station, the airport takes around 20 minutes. There are 7-11 and Lawson nearby, so we skipped breakfast at the hotel. Lawson has more stuff than 7-11, so I’d suggest going there. The room wasn’t especially big, but that’s normal in major cities, so I’m not complaining. The bathroom had both a bath and a shower and wasn’t small, which was a plus. The laundry room had three washers and three dryers, more than enough for us. Highly recommended for a Fukuoka visit. Hope to come back soon!

The rooms were lovely, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Akasaka station is so close that getting to and from the airport was easy. Tenjin and Ohori Park are just a short walk away. We’ll book here again when we return to Fukuoka.

I’m staying here now and it’s turned out to be a great hotel. I expected something fairly standard, but the rooms, furnishings, and amenities are the best we’ve had on our Japan trip. It’s very comfortable, and they even replaced the coffee pods during cleaning. Those little touches matter.

The hotel is clean and modern, and it’s easy to get to from Asakasa station. There’s a restaurant but no bar. The rooms are small, which takes away from an otherwise lovely place, especially if you’re on a longer trip with big cases.
