The common area is spacious and the staff were helpful. The female dorm was comfortable, and having an elevator was really convenient. It's an easy-to-find place about a 10-minute walk from hakata station, with just one stop to the airport. The female-only bathroom was also roomy apart from the shower itself. The dressing area had more space than the shower, which felt tight for someone of average size, not by Asian standard. I didn't check whether the other showers were like that. They had good toiletries and a laundry room. A 5kg wash takes about 30 minutes and costs 300yen. The dryer is 100yen for about 30 minutes, and the sign recommends 200yen, which makes sense. Even at that price, thicker clothes may still be damp. The machine decides the timing, so one load ran about 40 minutes with 200yen, while another showed 1.5hr for the same price. The time kept changing, presumably based on moisture. Detergent was sold for 50 yen, with two packets recommended for a load. One thing the booking site didn't say was that breakfast is offsite, a short walk down the block, and doesn't start until 8am. That's pretty late. We had an 8:55am flight and couldn't use the breakfast credit. Keep that in mind when booking through a third party, since breakfast is elsewhere and starts late. We enjoyed the stay, and it was great for the price and commute.

For a solo trip on a budget, I’d pick this place again if I’m back in Fukuoka. It’s a dormitory, but I found it comfortable and affordable, with well-equipped facilities and really helpful staff.

The shared room was noisy, with people up and moving around from 6 a.m., so I barely got a decent night’s sleep. I had a bunk, and the walk from Hakata Station took about 10 minutes, which honestly felt pretty far.

There’s a lot going on around the hotel, with popular attractions nearby. I was impressed by the room amenities and dining options, and the staff were attentive. The location is excellent.
