It can be a little hard to find if you’re not looking carefully, but this hostel is a great find. The owner was very friendly and efficient, and made the stay feel relaxed. There’s a locker for keeping your things safe, and you can use all the kitchen appliances. They even supplied bread and butter for breakfast, which was a nice surprise. Everything was up to a good standard, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone staying nearby. I booked at the last minute, and they were very understanding about the circumstances. I left a very happy customer :)

The staff booked me an early morning taxi to the airport, and the hostel was clean. There’s just one shower, but that didn’t cause a problem. It’s a quieter, less social place. The hostel is on the second floor with no elevator, so I wouldn’t recommend bringing heavy luggage. The beds creak and don’t have privacy or light-blocking curtains. In late July, the common room and reception area had no air conditioning, and I was really uncomfortable in the heat. The room itself did have AC.

There’s a ramen restaurant downstairs, and 7-Eleven is nearby. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the station if you want to take the MRT to the airport. The alley is small, but the bed was clean and comfortable. It was a cozy place for a short stay. The receptionist spoke English fluently and explained everything clearly. The bathroom was small but efficient.

There was only one shower, which was my one concern, but it didn’t end up being an issue. The hostel was quiet and clean, and although it was fully booked during my stay, it only accommodates 20 people. My bed was wide and comfortable, and the staff spoke good English and were very helpful.

It’s a small, well-kept place with comfortable beds. The staff were very welcoming, and the rooftop has a great view.
