The room was clean and the staff were polite, but the cigarette odor made the stay less comfortable, especially with a child traveling with us. We asked to switch rooms, but they didn't accommodate the request, which was inconvenient. The facilities and value are decent, and the location is acceptable, though better odor control and more flexibility about room changes would improve the experience.

For the price, this was one of the better hotels I've stayed in during my months traveling around Japan. The lobby is very nice, the rooms are spacious, and the employees are hospitable. The furniture and carpets are dated and worn, and checkout at 10 AM felt abnormally early. I know that isn't unusual in Japan, but it's not normal in developed countries.

I loved the breakfast here. The hotel is close to Fukushima train station, with good restaurants nearby, and the location is handy.

The rooms are small but very comfortable, and the view over Fukushima city is nice. You get a free bottle of water, and the AC works quietly and well. It's easy to reach, close enough to the station, and there are parking spaces at the hotel or right in front. Lots of really good restaurants are close by too.
